Daora

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

The short version: Daora stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. We have no servers, no accounts, and no tracking.

1. Who We Are

Daora is an iOS productivity application developed by Vladyslav Morozov ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

All data you create in Daora — including tasks, projects, plans, daily reflections, routine habits, and memory capsule photos — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's local storage APIs. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use iCloud sync (see Section 5).

4. Permissions We Request

Microphone & Speech Recognition
Used only when you choose to dictate a reflection by voice. Audio is processed on-device by Apple's Speech Recognition framework and is not sent to our servers. Apple's privacy policy governs this processing.

Camera & Photos
Used only when you choose to add a profile photo or attach a photo to a daily reflection. Images are stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your private iCloud database. They are never sent to us.

Calendar & Reminders
Used only if you choose to sync your scheduled tasks with the iOS Calendar and Reminders apps. This data is read and written locally and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced via Apple's iCloud infrastructure.

Notifications
Used to deliver local reminders (morning briefing, task alerts, focus check-ins, evening reflection, weekly digest). All notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.

5. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, Daora stores a copy of your data (such as tasks, plans, reflections, and settings) in your own private iCloud database using Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). This data lives in your personal iCloud account so it can sync across your Apple devices. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and we have no access to it — we operate no servers of our own.

6. Third-Party Services

Daora does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external frameworks used are Apple's own system APIs (Speech Recognition, Camera, Calendar, Reminders, Local Notifications, iCloud/CloudKit), all of which are governed by Apple's privacy practices.

7. Children's Privacy

Daora is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

8. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all app data at any time by deleting the Daora app from your device. If you used iCloud sync, you can remove the app's data from iCloud in your device's iCloud settings. This permanently removes your stored data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
